William Jamara

Psychotherapist

RP (Qualifying), LCMHC

As a mental health therapist, I seek to provide personalized support to help clients address their concerns. My approach is centered on creating a supportive space where clients can explore their challenges and develop effective coping strategies. I draw on evidence-based practices like Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to equip clients with the tools they need to build resilience and cultivate a more fulfilling life.

My client-centered approach is particularly well-suited for those who are navigating difficult life transitions or struggling with anxiety, depression, and stress. I strive to maintain a nonjudgmental and calm demeanor in my interactions with clients, taking the time to thoughtfully consider their concerns and collaboratively develop solutions that address their unique needs and goals.

My journey into mental health began while volunteering with a homeless outreach group. The experiences I encountered there ignited a curiosity for learning how folks can overcome adversity and build resilience. I believe in the power of human connection and the importance of providing compassionate, nonjudgmental support.
